The Language Market is easy to use even with limited computer knowledge.

Encourage students to self-direct his or her learning.
Instructions for loading the CD-Rom onto your computer are included with each copy of The Language Market.

Stage A

All Stage A products are Windows, Intel Mac and PowerPC Mac compatible.


Windows

  • Windows 98, ME, 2000, Server 2003, XP, Vista
  • Pentium III 800MHz (or equivalent) and later
  • 256MB of RAM


Macintosh

  • Mac OS X 10.4
  • 800MHz PowerPC G4 and later or Intel Mac
  • 256MB RAM

Stage B

Only French, German, Italian and Indonesian Stage B products are Windows and Macintosh compatible.


The minimum computer system requirements to be able to use The Language Market are:

Windows

  • Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4 (SP3), 2000, XP. (Only Stage B products work on Windows 2000 & Windows XP)
  • Pentium 100
  • 32 MB RAM and less than 1GB of RAM (TLM Stage B on PCs with 1GB or more of RAM will not run)
  • 20 MB free hard disk space

Apple Macintosh

(German, French, Italian, Indonesian only)

  • Apple Macintosh System 8.1 and later (Only under Classic Mode on OS X)
  • PowerMac or later
  • 32 MB RAM and less than 1GB of RAM (TLM Stage B on Macs with 1GB or more of RAM will not run)
  • 20 MB free hard disk space

The Language Market is available in stand-alone or network versions.
